Day 60

Day 60! I can’t believe we have 30 days left. It feels good. I am looking forward to so much in June that is still seems a million years away. The day the PCP ends happens to be Memorial Day, BBQ central. I look forward to enjoying a few of my fav’s and not be drinking an egg white shakes while everyone devours the pot luck. I am also going to cook up something fantastic, perhaps Ill host the party at my place.

The next thing in June is a work trip to San Francisco. The food there is amazing so I am glad it worked out to be post PCP. I also hope to finally see Alcatraz as we missed it before. Very fun city.

June rounds out with a cruise mid-month to the Bahamas. It’s my first Cruise and I am sure I will love it. I am excited to have a rockin’ bikini body at that point too.

I plan to bring my trusty jump rope and workout bands to all of these events. I will also be diving quite a bit during the cruise. I am not sure that all the food I will consume will be healthy. I do know that so far the PCP has taught me a lot about what I should be nourishing my body with and why. I don’t think I will be salting my pickles anymore let’s just put it that way. Yes, I really did do that.

On another note…. Jumps are getting easier, just last week I could barely do 2 minutes, now I have to stop around three. I am sure by next week I will be able to do through 3 or 4. I am a bit behind as I am not hitting the required time but I am darn close and improving. Strength is so much more fun than the jumps. I love getting the last few in and being all shaky. And now I know why, thanks Patrick! I know this contradicts what I said in my last post, I don’t mean it to. Working out sucks, but if I had to pick I would always pick strength over jumping.

I hope you all have a good Friday…

  2. WOW! San Francisco...so jealous! All that seafood and clamfish chowder!

You're planning ahead which is awesome. Later this year, I'm going to Brazil with my capoeira group and the rope and bands are going to help me balance the temptations there. It doesn't seem real to me just now - thanks for the reminder.
