Day 52

I was invited out for Happy hour with the girls after work. My first thought was no. I have to work out, I have to stick with my diet, I need to get to bed early blah blah blah…. But as I thought about all the neglect my friends have been getting lately I decided I needed to follow through. Let loose and enjoy company. I came prepared to work with my hand blender, apple, yogurt and egg white. My plan is to eat (drink) dinner beforehand to get the fullness. I can order a plain salad with balsamic and just nibble along with them. Not sure if we are doing dinner yet but I am guessing so. Just because I am eating healthy shouldn’t have to ruin my social life. I can do this. I’ll get home around 730 or so and then do my work out and get to bed.

My chest is extremely sore from my workout yesterday. My neck feels tight and I am tired of holding it up. I need to make sure I am using good form and posture. The workouts are incredibly intense. I am struggling through.

After doing a plank I fell to the ground laying on my back. My dog thought this was pretty neat so he came and laid on his back too….

  1. Hey Kristi! Just checked your pics..your doing GREAT!!! Wow!
I know what you mean, keeping a social life with the PCP is not the easiest thing but hey! it's not because we can't eat/drink that we can't be fun and of good company...
Hold on, we're close to the end!

  2. These are choices that matter. Figuring out how to hang out with friends and stay on diet, not neglecting either. It's hard but with a little planning and creativity it's doable. Great work Kristi!

  3. This is always a delicate tradeoff and good on you for trying to balance it!
I had definetely become a bit antisocial because of PCP but I think this need to change.

  4. I'm naturally either in antisocial mode or want to go OUT all the time mode. Finding a happy medium of these two will be a good side effect of PCP for me.

Kristi, awesome planning. Hope you have a lovely evening with both activities.
