Day 36

I am not sure what is going on but I am just so tired. When my head hits the pillow at 9pm I am instantly asleep. I have never had that happen before. Then suddenly my alarm is going off and it is soooo loud. Mostly because I slept through the first few quieter buzz noises (it gets louder as you let it go). I wake up and the first part of my morning is just a giant blur. I feel dizzy and unrested. I know if I lay back down I could easily get in another 3-4 hours. Last night I got 8.75 hours, the night before, a full 8 the night before that 12?!?!

Am I still sick? Is my body rejecting the intense workouts? Am I not getting enough to eat through the day? Is there something else wrong? I have always been a morning person, early to bed and rising with a smile on my face early in the morning. And it is not just the morning! I am tired and sluggish all day. Last week I thought it was just the upper repertory infection. This week, I have no idea. If this goes on I am not sure how I will cope. I know a lot of you are having a hard time sleeping… but are any of you feeling like I am?

Today is it rainy. I will probably do my jumps inside again “pretending” to jump the rope till my ankle feels better, perhaps in a few days? I hope….. I will try to up the jumps to do 300 in a row just to maximize the cardio piece. I am looking forward to the strength portion. Did I just say that?!?! I am actually really enjoying strength. Well the planks kinda suck and leg lifts X 100 Uuggghhh!!! But the rest is good. I like pushing myself in that way, much better than cardio.

Let’s see how the no banana shake is this evening. Lunch today is sushi at my favorite place! Waaahooo!!

  3. Thanks team! I am glad I am not the only one feeling burnt out. Last night I got 9.5 hours of sleep though. It felt amazing. Today I woke up actually feeling good and not zombified. It does mean working out after work but oh well! The sleep was necessary!
