Wow! I am slacking on the blog, sorry folks! I know you count on me for inspiration just as much as I count on you.
First off, how is everyone doing in the aftermath of the Earthquake? I can only imagine the emotions that are flowing. Those of you who pursue forward I applaud you for your strength and drive. For those of you who are not moving forward I fully understand and my thoughts are with you and your loved ones.
OH JUMP ROPE, how I dislike you! 100,200,300,400,500,600,700,800!!! And don’t even get me started about lunges! Squats however, I am ok with. I suck at push-ups. I am on my knees and I can only get about half way down. What are better or you, full push-ups but just half of them, or half push-ups and all of them?
I am getting the flow of the diet. It does take up a bit more time in my day, but if I plan for lunch and prep breakfast my mornings aren’t too long. I used to have a love affair with food. I was comforted by it and I know I was an emotional eater. Now however, I eat only when told, only how much. There is no emotion. The new pattern has been healthy for me.
I have lost 4.8lbs so far. I haven’t taken a second round of measurements yet but that will be this weekend. I am also committed to putting up my pictures. I have been taking regular weekly pictures, but I have been too embarrassed to put them on the site. Although my changes in my body have only been ever so slight I feel them. I know the big changes are going to start happening and I know they will have a snowball effect as in they will start small and continue to grow faster and faster through the 90 days. So by the end of the week you will be able to watch the incredible shrinking woman in action!
Cheating… I am not proud to say I ate two marinated green olive halves and a mushroom cap. The sad part is they were super salty and greasy and I paid dearly for it with a case of indigestion. By day 90 I bet that I am not able to eat unhealthy again. I have however; been diligent in all the exercises and the rest of the diet I have stayed on track. This is pretty huge for me as I am a perpetual dieter (then giver-up-er) in my past life (pre-PCP). I am proud of how far my team and I have come, and can’t wait to see how far we will go! Keep up the great work!!!
It was my dogs sixth Birthday yesterday, so I thought I would post a few pics of him here :)
Ha, nice one... 1. Half of the full push ups are best(best to do them correct, muscles will then learn and grow) 2. Post it all and get fully commited 3. Socks on the little fella must be torture, he'd be sliding all over the place... :-)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy !
Your dog is so precious! Love the last pic of him, so sweet.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the weight loss, wow!
